Playtest data & privacy
Optional analytics records your browser family, game version, selected map/input, loading errors, sanitized error messages and stack traces, a short sequence of recent gameplay event types, performance and gameplay events such as resets, collisions and nitro. It uses a random session identifier and, while analytics is enabled, a random first-party browser identifier stored locally for 30 days after the latest analytics activity. This lets us count unique browsers and returning visits over 1, 7 and 30 days; it does not identify individual people. Test sessions are marked separately. We do not create a player account or fingerprint.
Declining does not prevent play. Turning analytics off stops new optional events, removes unsent optional events and deletes the local browser identifier; already delivered optional analytics and diagnostic events are retained for up to 30 days.
Pressing “Send feedback” sends the ratings, your comment, game version and session ID even when optional analytics is off. Feedback sent with analytics off has no browser identifier. Feedback is kept in a separate archive until manually deleted, including its ratings, comment, game version, session ID and submission time. It is not deleted with the 30-day gameplay history.
